Update Feb 16 2021
ATTENTION: TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA APPLICANTS WHOSE APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN DELAYED OR LOST WITH THE IRCC.We have negotiated a deal with the Desloges Law Group to file a Mandamus for the members of our group.
A mandamus is a legal solution for individuals who have had their applications stalled for an excessive amount of time, which many have experienced during the pandemic last year. In filing a mandamus, you will be effectively ordering the government to fulfill their duties in processing visa applications, which they are obliged to do as per law.
If you are interested in pursuing this route, please see the table below about the proposed process for taking legal action. We’re including the price negotiated with the Desloges Law Group, the work that entails, and what they traditionally charge for that work. If, given the proposal below, you would like to proceed, please fill out the form linked below:

2)Date of application 26/10/20 Extended Family
3)She was refused twice for the visitor’s visa

4)She sent the imm0006 document by applying through the ircc site we had no news I called my mp to know what was happening and he told her that the document was not in her application but she got it right to send . She e-mailed 14 days later a refusal because my girlfriend sent the wrong documents. She returned the correct document and we have not heard from imm 0006 but she had her visa refused.
5)For her first application she was refused for the reason of the trip and her travel history.
For the second which is of 10/26/20, it was refused for the reason of the trip, the current employment situation and taking into account your movable property and your financial situation …. She had all the proofs of his apartment, his condo under construction letter of employment and paper for the care of his two children. She did not have all her papers at her first application and now they have found 3 reasons instead of 2 to refuse her without having received a response for the imm0006 …. We still don’t understandJanuary 23, 2021 at 6:59 pm #432MazieParticipant
<p style=”text-align: right;”>Hello!

I am interested in a Writ of Mandamus.
We send out application ( spousal sponsorship) on December 18, 2019. In January 2020 my husband did his biometrics and we got a SA as well.
In February 2020 our file was transferred to Cairo, Egypt. In October he passed his medical exam. Since the file was transferred to Cairo nobody was working on it. I live in Calgary Alberta. My husband has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work his profession is in damand in Alberta. He could be very beneficial to the economic recovery.January 25, 2021 at 11:40 pm #447Helen73Participant
Hello, I have a few questions about the Mandamus as i am a bit unclear of the process.
I have been married for almost 6 yrs and have been dealing with IRCC this whole time. I had one application already denied after the interview stage and I’m now in queue for an interview again after we reapplied in 2019. My question is: After the Mandamus is filed and the Supreme Court orders IRCC to finalize our files for those who are in queue for an interview are we then given an interview date or is our file reviewed by an immigration officer and the file is either denied or approved? Again, I’m a bit unclear as to the process once the Mandamus is filed and a decision is made by the Supreme Court.
My second question is actually in relation to another member. She applied in 2019 and was denied after the interview in 2020 and has since re-applied but is shy from the 12 month mark to apply for the Mandamus. April 2021 marks 12 months for her application processing. Can she still apply for the Mandamus? Thank you.January 26, 2021 at 7:22 am #450CristianoParticipant

Interested in this legal action. Waiting for our third application for Eta turned in on the 14th of November. We have been denied exemption because he doesn’t have an ETA. It was taken away in March 2020 when we attempted to get him to come to Canada. We were about to get married. We have been working on trying to get together since the beginning of pandemic with no results yet. MP helped and is sympathetic to our situation but still no results.January 31, 2021 at 4:05 pm #513rauramrodParticipant
